Wallpaper

Yes that is wallpaper! It is in the castle Ladies loo, and I thumbnailed the water lilies to cover my PinkOctober.

Last night was just superb. Drinks in the Library ( my favourite room), dinner in the Banqueting Hall ( what a privilege) and finally coffee in the Drawing Rooms. All resulted in what was for me a late night at almost midnight. The only 'odd' thing Was being waited on, both for evening dinner and breakfast this morning, not just by friends and colleagues, but by management too.

Everything was just perfect, and what a lovely way to make your staff feel special and valued. There were staff from Retail, Gardening, The Golf Course, Catering, Stewards, Castle Guides, Ticket Box, Accounts, DVOPs and of course Education. We had all worked at the castle for 20 years or longer. Special guests included the CEO, The Chairman of the Trustees and and some senior managers.
