Kilted Highlander

The Glenfinnan monument was erected in 1815 in tribute to the final Jacobite Rising.

Still raining when we woke this morning but throughout the day it brightened up. We hoped to walk up towards the glenfinnan viaduct and viewpoint for the monument but it was very muddy and slippy, therefore unsafe for hubby. We had a drive across to Inverness then over the hills to Cairn-O-Mount continuing home.
