It's all go in Festival Square!

This morning I popped into Oswestry to do a bit of shopping and it was really busy with lots going on. The indoor and outdoor markets were there as usual plus a "Made in Shropshire" craft market in the street.

In Festival Square (or Red Square as it's known to locals) the Army Reserves had brought this army lorry complete with integral guns, freestanding ones and other equipment. They were on a recruiting mission.

The white tent at the back was the British Legion marking the launch of the poppy appeal.

I had taken some photos of the activity then the postman arrived to empty the pillar box and a motorcyclist started getting kitted out in his leathers to add to it all.

This is a poorer shot photographically than the others but I liked it best.
