Story Telling Night

We attended the last of this season's story telling bonfire events.  It was a fun time and just sitting out in the open air while the voice of the story teller came out of the dark made us feel warm and included in a special circle.
Since there were little kids there the stories were age appropriate for them; which is not to say they were any less entertaining.  
But still...I wonder how scary the storyteller can be when he pulls out all the stops.
