fields of gold...

I shouldn't really need an excuse to stop the car on the way back from an activity pick-up with the children and walk the fields in the evening sun - but it seems that sometimes I do.

So because my camera was with me and I still needed an image, we stopped and for a few moments I had sun on my face and light in my mind. But only for a few as there was homework to complete, exams to revise for, small children to read to and even household stuff that was needing attention.

I have never really felt this strongly about it before BUT I really do need a holiday - just a break from the mountain of things that we are responsible for (except the kids of course)! Yep I really do.
