Grow on you, that's what they do!

Out last night and realised I hadn't used my camera all day, so quickly grabbed this picture of one of the roses I bought the other day in Tesco. I don't shop there very often but was getting last minute things for A before she started her teaching practice the next day. These caught my eye and they've opened beautifully. Lovely strong healthy stems and rich dark foliage with this really unusual colour.
I often think of Norman Wisdom and that chocolate advert when I see roses, so, beautiful, scented, a memory jog and all for less than a fiver!
