Yet Another Unidentified Mushroom.

Deep in the dark pinewoods behind the apiary, some toadstools have emerged, pretty drab, but I needed to post something having missed the last two days. I have approximately identified the two from the garden last Monday as some sort of Boletus and a "drab bonnet";the former has changed colour quite radically which made me think I might be able to improve on the i.d. but no such luck, now I need to try and identify this one too. The best match is the grey knight (Tricholoma terreum), but it is not very convincing.

I have just discovered that I know a self taught expert, so perhaps I can run some of the awkward ones past him.
