Strange Posture

When she's sitting, Liffey often holds the free, rear paw off the ground as she's doing in this shot.  
I don't know if it increases her comfort or decreases her pain.  We have had vets tell us that her bones are not in correct alignment and she will be prone to arthritis as she ages.
