Friday Tchai

Waiting for the St Petersburg Sinfonietta to begin a delightful concert of Tchaikowsky bits and bobs including some arias from the opera Eugene Onegin which I have never heard before.  The concert was in the 'TIM Show Center', Istanbul,  which I have never been to before.  The evening was shared with colleague-friends and we all agreed that it is something we should do together again.

The rain continues, ruthlessly, relentlessly, so much so in fact, that the roads were quite badly flooded in places on the way home. Wild and windy, Istanbul seems to have its own mini 'Patricia' tonight.
