Insect Day

H had the day off school for what was always known as an insect day when they were younger. We met my friend and her son for breakfast in town followed by a trip on the train to Birmingham. We've had a lovely day, luckily her son is a classmate of H and they've chatted nonstop all day. It's nice that even at 12 they don't mind spending time with their mums, or a pal of the opposite sex, got to make the most of it while it lasts, it may not do much longer.
