Busy day.

I started today by continuing stripping the walls in the main bedroom, while Stu started removing bricks ready to do the prep work for replacing the lintels above the window.  We then popped out to get some bricks and cement, making a trip to the tip on the way.  Back to the house where Stu started laying the engenering bricks which will hopefuly take the weight of the very heavy concrete lintels.  I pulled down all the shelving in the little cupboard thing on the landing (this had been put together with millions of nails and screws like everything else in this house).  I started to remove the polystyrene ceiling tiles in the front bedroom, but after getting less than 10% off I felt like my arms were going to drop off.  Whoever thought of putting polystyrene ceiling tiles up  needs shooting!  I had a little rest and then starting filling in some of the holes in the brickwork with the left over mortar.
I should of been going out tonight with people from work, but we lost track of time, and i'm so shattered I think I need an early night.
