Three wise guys, each one hawking:

1 A desk lamp - sans bulb.
2 A stack of old books - useful if you don't have a desk on which to perch your newly acquired lamp.
3 A vase - totally useless.
at the Place du Jeu de Balle flea market in Brussels.

Mrs H spotted something else mildly interesting among all the niff naff and trivia.  We had overheard, in French, the price drop from 30 Euro to 18 Euro for another punter who had considered buying it.  When we looked, the wise guys dropped back into in their native tongue, unaware that Mrs H understood what they were saying:
- How much shall I charge her?
- Try 35
- Trente cinq Euro

We didn't buy. Wise guys indeed!
