Madame Butterfly had a chance encounter with Toto!

This was the only fresh daisy in amongst a big patch of burnt ones and Madame was heading for it! She passed fairly close to his nose, he lurched forward to grab her but missed and she sailed forward on to the daisy!

I was just a little bit flustered by this stage but I managed to collect my thoughts, pull out the camera, put one foot onto the dogs lead, kneel down and snap this shot!!

Then she was gone and we walked on.....a tantalising moment!
