For Flower Friday...

I am amazed the buds keep on coming as have the snapdragons and the love in a mist are starting over again :)

Update from yesterday's hospital visit.  It wasn't just a check up anymore :( 

13 years ago I had to have a hysterectomy to remove a tumour the size of an orange. They didn't remove my ovaries because they were healthy at the time.   I have regular check ups every year as a matter of course because they didn't remove my ovaries.

Now they have decided that the left ovary is looking very suspicious and it will have to come out as soon as possible, but they count it as an 'elective' surgery rather than emergency.  The waiting list is some 3 months or so.

Its a bit of a bombshell to say the least....  However, I am told that all being well it will be keyhole surgery.  If  they can't do it that way for whatever reason, they will proceed straight to a laparotomy at the same time  :(

I've had too many operations in my life to be worried about it, but I was hoping to go without this particular one...

(it is frustrating because I maybe settled into another job by then, so I don't quite know what to do or say at interviews about it, can't really hide it!  Obviously I keep on with the job hunt...)

Apologies if this is all TMI , but it has been my day! 

In other news, the garage have adjusted something (for free this time), but are saying if the problem keeps on (its revving up high by itself with no feet on pedals or anything).  If they have to replace something it could cost about £200, which is not what I want to hear, especially as the cambelt is due for replacement next year (also about £200)...

Anyway, sorry for the long write up.  Hope everyone has a great weekend :) 

I am going to meet up with my Mum and StepDad tomorrow at The Vyne National Trust.  Would be good if there were any blippers planning to come, it would give me a break....  As you may have realised I'm not particularly close to my Mum though my StepDad is great....  

Hoping the weather will be kind to us, though the forecast isn't brilliant...

Off to hoover the car out, its getting bad...before it rains!
