Reunion

I went into London tonight to meet up with some old colleagues from my career job.  Like me, most of them are now retired and enjoying the freedom that it brings but, sadly, some of the regulars are no longer with us, or not well enough to join these get-togethers.  Somehow, that seems to make it even more important to keep the reunions going while we can.

We met up, as usual, at the Founders Arms on the Thames next to Blackfriars bridge.  We probably get more benefit from this location in the summer, when it is warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the views, but this vista is good at any time of year.
