Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Emily!

I missed swimming this morning as I had a networking event but there was still plenty to do today at Whinfell Forest. It is Emily's second birthday today and as you can see, she needs her big brother to help with the candle (and Grandma to help with the eating!)

We then went for a woodland walk to one of the play areas and went to the Lakeside Restaurant and I had the most fantastic meal of Portobello mushrooms wrapped in puff pastry.

Any calories I had gained with all this good food were burnt of with the walk back to the lodge and a rather energetic game played with Daniel and some balloons.

When the children went to bed we were watching the forest web cam being played out through the TV and were lucky enough to see a couple of badgers.
