Knitter’s hands
On a whim we went out to lunch today at a local café/restaurant (note to self – take interstate guests there: they’ll love it). The food is really excellent – and also extremely healthy, and they recently won an award for the best café/restaurant in South Australia.
They do all sorts of things like hosting art displays, live music on occasion – and an innovation we’ve not seen elsewhere. The local knitting group leaves a basket on the counter full of wool and half-knitted scarves for the needy. Anyone is invited to add a few rows to the projects if they have time. Paladian, who has knitting in her DNA, immediately picked up a snowy white scarf, and while we were waiting for our meal, added a good few centimetres onto it.
Thanks for all of your comments and stars and favs over the last week. I have been flattened by my trip of 6 weeks on the road, back home early this week. I do appreciate your looking at my photos, with most of this week put up as back blips. Hope to be back to normal ASAP!
