A very rare bird...

One of our volunteers is looking after this very rare little fellow. It is a Antarctic Prion- found on a fishing ship which had come north from the Southern oceans. This wee fellow breeds on the Campbell Islands and very rarely comes further north than 50' south. And according to the boffins never ever comes ashore on the mainland. He is very sweet, very hungry and hopefully  we can rehabilitate him for release. Very exciting to see him.
