A little moment on the canal

At Broadway Market.

A good day bimbling about and exploring. I did quite a lot of walking and the lungs seemed to cope very well, in spite of traffic fumes.
I met the girl for lunch at Broadway Market which is near where she works and an area I hadn't been to before. Well, not since I was a baby anyway. I enjoyed a walk along the canal there. There were moorhens and some kind of geese on the water, lots of house boats, a gushing lock, and on the canal path lots of cyclists and joggers.
Later I went back to Ridley Road market and to Stoke Newington and revisited my favourite fabric shops.
