Caldbeck

First day at home after our trip on Slolace.  The morning was taken up by the usual after a holiday trips shopping etc.  In the afternoon Clickychick suggested we go out looking for some photo opportunities.  Who am I to argue with a suggestion like that.

We set off with no real destination in mind but ended up at Priest's Mill Caldbeck for a coffee.  We then moved down to the Cald Beck for some moving water shots.

On the way home we had a bit of a rodeo!  We came across 5 young Limousin Cattle roaming on the road.  We stopped as it was obvious which field they had come out of.  Fortunately a young lady in the car behind also stopped.  Between us we managed to herd them along the road and through the gate while keeping their agitated mothers in the field.  We blocked the gap as best we could and the young lady knew the owner and promised to contact him for a more permanent job.
