Homemake Jam mmmm

Back to work and it didn’t feel like we had had a weekend with all the driving. Not much going on. Came back and managed to sell another 17 bags of stones before doing the shopping.

One of the best things about going home is collecting some of Mum’s homemade jam and marmalade. She has been making and selling this for the last 15 years or more. The money she raises goes towards sending around 40 boxes of knitted jumpers and clothes to the Gambia each year that she organises. The jumpers are knitted by members of the Wally’s Incorporated (WI or Women’s Institute) along with other clothes. It is all linked to the ACWW (Associated Country Women of the World). She is currently planning the international conference for 1000 women next year in Warwick. Don’t know where she gets the time.
