A beautiful and touching poem that was read today at the Service of Thanksgiving for an old family friend… The service was held in a chapel on the outskirts of Bath, overlooking a green and tranquil valley of rolling farmland and autumnal trees…

After having to stand for an hour and a half in a packed chapel, I’m on my last legs so I shall leave you with these moving words and bid you goodnight…
