I like teapots!

In Lincoln yesterday we found a tea shop - not a cafe - a shop selling teas of all sorts and related products - including, of course, teapots. This little glass teapot has a lovely little elephant as the knob on the lid, so I had to have it.
I am assured it is functional, will withstand the boiling water, but the design is not good as the lid doesn't have the little projection which stops it falling off as you tip it to pour the tea so I will have to remember to hold it on or it will splash into the cup.
There was also a little china one with a dog on the lid - another blip sometime  - and my friend bought me a jug shaped like a seated cow for my birthday ;-)
