Just a little bit stretchy

Nice walk with the dog in the weak autumn sun.
The team took a bit of a hammering last night. We all got beaten apart from our no. 1 and he only play 1 game before his opponent retired injured.
I wasn't sorry as I was marking it and getting plenty of abuse off both players about my decision making. They both had a right old moan if the decision was against them. Still it's all character building stuff.
I got humped by a 17yr old, but was frustrated that it took me so long to get going. It wasn't til the 3rd (and final) game that I was playing well by which time he had all the momentum. Long gone are the days I'd be ready to play after just a few minutes warm up and sneak a quick first game. It's annoying when you don't feel you give a good account of yourself.
Still shit happens, and I've got another match tomorrow to look forward to.
