Loch Duich

First day of hillwalking today up at Glen Shiel and it was nearly a non starter after a heavy night of wind. That was just in the bunkhouse!

The wind and rain didn't relent in the morning but I set off for just after half ten as the forecast was it was supposed to get better in the afternoon.

I did two more Munro's today. A' Chraileag and Mullach Fraoch Choire both which are over the 1100 metre mark.

Fairly straightforward day with the only obstacle some heavy gusts of wind over a narrow ridge. I took my time at at points had to crawl but got there in the end.

I'm staying in the wee bunkhouse at Kintail Lodge Hotel and currently sharing with one other.

My two mates, JC and R arrive later on tonight. The bunkhouse sits on the banks of the beautiful Loch Duich.
