On the woodland floor

One of my walking group friends has developed a health issue that prevents her from doing the type of walks that our group normally does. We decided to have some walks together as we enjoy each other's company. This morning we went round Colemere which was lovely -  great weather and autumn colours plus lots of chat of course!

The photo is of an old mossy log in the Colemere woodland. It was difficult to decide on a blip but chose this one because I liked the variety of leaves and plants on and around it. It will be a haven for insects too.
