Off with the cone!

Thank you all very much for your good wishes yesterday.  Well there was good news and bad news.  The bad news was that it wasn't just fat, but a tumour, and not a 'good' one.  BUT the good news is that the laboratory have confirmed that it has been completely and cleanly removed, and that this sort of tumour is not prone to spreading.  So there is a good chance that we've heard the last of it.  Alfred has to go back in January for a check up and we'll keep an eye on him.  His wound has healed well and after an ultrasound to check it inside, we were allowed to leave minus the cone!!  He's a happy boy!!  He's got a well earned steak for dinner tonight.  :-)
