Autumn sunshine

I went over to the Wolseley Centre to see how the kingfisher was going on. It was forecast not to rain but the sunshine was far more beautiful than we had dared to hope.

One of the regulars told me that he'd seen the kingfisher, giving chase to a rival kingfisher to see him off his patch.  It wasn't long before I saw our kingfisher, flying along the centre of the river. I didn't even lift my camera - the magic is seeing him.

He returned shortly afterwards - another stunning flash of blue.

It stayed warm and sunny so I strolled along the banks of the river in the meadow area.  I couldn't believe how beautiful the autumn leaves were, especially reflected in the water.
