Cairo Café Verandah

One of my favourite seats in Cairo. I've done a lot writing sitting right here and also inside. Sadly, the place is closing in a couple of weeks and moving to a much inferior location inside a hotel across the way. To add to my change woes, that hotel has just decided to stop serving beer. It was the only place that sold it within easy walking distance. Funny how we want so much to change sometimes but get upset by other changes along the way. These two really will affect our daily routines and enjoyment.

In other news the election turnout is worse than expected at between 10 and 20%. The young are completely disillusioned with the offering and the system.
