It's the little things ...
... that can be annoying, like different sized slices of bread which mean your sandwich is all wonky!
The rain and gloom of Wednesday made me realise just how good an Autumn we have had - can't remember the last time we had a rainy day like this. Luckily, the heavy rain passed by first thing so we only had mizzly rain for the rest of the day. And it was kindly dry for a mini plod at lunchtime - picked a slightly dodgy route as we ended up treading very gingerly through some mounds of horribly wet leaves that it looked like the trees had shed in one go! Thankfully we kept upright despite it feeling very dodgy underfoot.
Ian had a half day so enjoyed a soggy round of golf with one of his workmates. Leo got to watch 13 minutes of Back to the Future at school and he is outraged they couldn't watch more. Apparently there is swearing in there so the school wouldn't let them watch more. I'd have thought they could find more than 13 swear free minutes! I even had to sign a form or say he could watch the 13 minutes as it is a PG film :) They are doing inventions this term which I guess is why they picked the film.
