Happy Birthday To Me!

Today we visited goodrington sands, a beach near Paignton on the south coast of Devon.

Today was my birthday, and on this day last year was the first time we saw a tiny wobbly picture of our baby Jack on a 9 week scan! To say a lot has changed in a year is an understatement!

I felt quite emotional holding Jack whilst opening my presents and receiving my 1st 'happy birthday mummy' card.

Goodrington sands is a beach where I spent time on my childhood summer holidays so to return here with my 5 month old son was quite strange, but exciting too, it was exactly as I remembered it and would love to return when jack is a little older to make sandcastles!
