Suffragettes

Today was a pretty productive day!
I did the first session of my driving pass plus, which included driving on the motorway and through areas such as Notting hill and Knightsbridge!
My afternoon was spent having tea and biscuits with my lovely friends, Mem, Niki and Izzi!
I then headed out with my mum and her 'cinema club' for dinner at Bills and to see the film Suffragettes!
I found this film incredibly sad and heart-wrenching but almost tremendously empowering.
I think some people vastly underestimate what was done by women to allow U.S. women nowadays the freedoms we have. But it also reminded me of how far we also have to go, not only in our own country, but also in areas such as Saudi Arabia, where women are still not allowed to vote!
