The Most Dangerous Lift In The World

Hey, did you happen to ride the most dangerous lift in the world?  
And, hey . . . if you did . . . was it falling, falling?

The girls whose legs you see through the broken lift door said the words of  the title of my blip today as she stepped out of the shoogly cabin having somehow survived the descent from the 16th floor.

It was my turn to breath in deep and ascend listening to all sorts of scrapings and seeing the stains on the Cairo concrete walls as we passed from floor to floor without an intervening door to enclose the cabin.   Tantalising glimpses into dimly-lit floors of obscure living and other  accommodation were offered.   I'm sure Charlie Rich would have been equally inspired in the song writing stakes but maybe his song wouldn't have reached to top of the charts!
