Bowood 2015 #43 (Wednesday 14th October 2015)

The main purpose of this trip was to test the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 that I'd bought to replace the second-hand one I'd had for a few months that was faulty. So far, so good.

A trip to Westonbirt to see their acers is very much called for, but in the meantime there are several at Bowood that are intense as any that Westonbirt could provide, including this one, a red maple (Acer rubrum 'October Glory').

The Extra is of the still Lake and Doric temple, showing off the autumnal hues to good effect (but taken with my Pentax 55-300mm on a K50).
