Poppies on a tip...

Taken with a long lens as they were quite a distance away.  I've been amazed at these little poppies that have struggled to survive on a heap (a very large heap) of gravel all summer.  So not a great pic artistically or technically but a tribute to a bunch of survivors.

BTW  If anyone knows the road from Craignure to Fionnphort on Mull can they tell me if Tommy Donaldsons huge breakdown trucks are still there by the roadside?  I think it's closer to the Iona end of the isle.  Thanks.  Pic of one in the EXTRAS.
