Old Roof Off ...

... and first stage of new roof on!

The roofers were here around 7.30am but were happy to have teas and coffee before starting on the roof. The old tiles, battens and under felt were soon stripped off and in the skip.

I went off to the Apple Fair at Llanddona for a couple of hours to support their village event and to buy apples, freshly pressed juice and local honey.

By mid afternoon our new roof had it's sheep's wool insulation, new underlay and battens in place - we had far too much insulation so the roofers have dropped it into the attic, MrD will be installing it during the winter months!

We watched Wales lose against South Africa 23-19 so out of the Rugby World Cup :-((
