End of summer??
Thanks to high pressure we’ve enjoyed an unseasonable warm and sunny October. That is good for both moral and the heating bills!! However if the forecast is to be believed then that is all set to change over the next day or so. Therefore the beautiful sunset this evening seemed all the more poignant as it seemed to be saying goodbye to summer. (see extra photo too)
The evenings are drawing in and the clocks go back this weekend, winter is approaching. There is nothing I like better on a winters evening than to be tucked up at home with tv on and candles burning. Tonight was one of those rare relaxing evenings when I had nothing planned other than photo editing. Last night I completed the editing of one of my sister’s wedding photos and had sent the photos for printing. Tonight I completed the editing of all the photos I had taken leading up to and on the wedding itself and sent these for printing.
I have bought a lovely album to fill with photos taken by myself and others and am looking forward to filling it. My other 2 sisters are putting their pics on disc for me to edit so then that will be a complete set for me. My official photographer has also contacted me to say the proofs will be on line this week … excited or what??!! The wedding seems a long time ago, but the photos are keeping it fresh for me. Precious memories to enjoy over the dark nights of winter!
