Morning on the mooring.

Our last full day on the canal for this trip.  By evening we were back at our berth in the marina, getting ready for leaving Solace in the morning.  This was the scene on the canal just before we set of for the days cruise.  Another fine day with flat calm as you can see.

It was a great start to the last day of what had been a wonderful holiday.  The weather wonderful (most of the time) the autumn colours beautiful and the canal uncrowded.

It was interesting noticing on our return how much the colours had increased in the trees over the 14 days we had been away.  Having a little time to kill we pass the marina and went onto the Staffordshire and Worcester canal and had lunch on Tixal wide.
