Wisteria Wednesday.

The wisteria is in full bloom over the little wooden bridge in Kuirau park.  A little boy was about to run over the bridge and stopped to exclaim at how cool the purple looked.  Then he did run off so no chance to snap him for blip.  The scent was delicious and the colour put me in mind of Dame Edna Everage a character created by Australian comedian Barry Humphries.  When he is in costume  to be Dame Edna he wears a wisteria coloured wig.  I won't explain anymore because I don't know how Barry Humphries translates to Europe or the States.  I know the English got him and here in New Zealand.  Her/his greeting was "Hello Possums"
