Rainbow birthday

She was extremely excited to go to rainbows tonight, for dual reasons. Firstly because it was their princess party and they could go in fancy dress. She asked to go as the Little Mermaid. So a Little Mermaid-inspired outfit I made! Secondly, she was excited as she was going to receive her "6" birthday badge. She had a lot of fun and said they ate "the party rings but that have princess pictures on!"

Parents Evening tonight. Frustrating. But not at my girl. With a teacher who hasn't taken a single moment in the half term to actually get to know her. The other job share teacher seems to have finally sat up a bit and taken Katie's needs more into account. Turns out, for all the frustrations of FY, we were rather spoilt by having a teacher who fought tooth and nail to find what worked to help Katie. Anyway....
