Through A Glass Darkly

Still up in Sutherland, more  swimming . Then up even further almost to the very top . So much to see , one can never weary .Imagine therefore my joy at finding this abandoned croft house . Able to enter , I did in order to pursue an interest of mine .Abandoned buildings. No trashing, no pilfering  , purely love of atmosphere and filming .The place was furnished and as you can see still contained objects which must have brought joy and pleasure to someone . I have actually taken film footage but cannot make a video and upload until I have a better connection.It made me reflect how we place so much importance on objects , yet they too fade when we do .
Later I asked about the house and found interesting detail about the last occupant , She died approx 30 years ago .It was a joy and record her "home" has not been vandalized save by the weather in parts .
