Blue Skies and Autumn Colour

A morning of shifting tables into the cellar to free up space in the attic. I would have not ventured in if I had known what was lurking down in the gloom.

Then a bike ride in the afternoon sunshine. Really enjoyed the mild conditions and Autumn colours.

When Richard came to put the bike away in the cellar he was greeted with a half dead rat. The pest controller has been leaving poisoned bait. Had I known it was still down there I would not have contemplated going down this morning. In the past we have had mice but this is the first time a rat has taken a shine to the cellar!
