is his name!  Today I was in Hewe which is near the Zambian border - we left early in the morning to supervise training and this is my last day at work in Malawi!!!  I can hardly believe it!  We had a good day - this child was just so cute - you can see he is wearing a necklace around his neck - this is a traditional method of keeping away evil spirits and protecting the child from them!

Came home late afternoon to find people from the waterboard digging up my garden - the house next door has no water and the pipe goes through my garden!  I left them to it and only realised tonight I have no water either - thankfully I have a bucket of water for emergencies!!

Now I am on annual leave and will leave Malawi for good at the beginning of December - it feels very strange to think I will not have to go to work tomorrow!!
