Phoeeeeeeeeebeeeee

This is a shot of Sammy and Lucie shouting hello down the phone to new baby Phoebe born to my friend Amy.
Today I have tried very hard to be a domestic goddess resulting in a burnt banana cake, two fire alarms going off, roasted pumpkin soup that took an AGE to make and really wasn't worth it after I over 'chilli-ed' it, and some toasted pumpkin seeds. Big sigh.
Should I start on my pear caramel or give up for today? I might start then I can do it again tomorrow if today continues on its disastrous route OR it might go well and we can finish on a high :)
