Powis Castle

Beautiful privately owned but National Trust maintained castle near Welshpool, Powys.
The house itself is ok, but the terraced gardens and woodlands are stunning, especially this time of year.
Another glorious day, have been very lucky recently.

(v small claim to fame, eldest daughter Beth went to school with Alexander, the son of the Earl of Powis, until she was 9, had high hopes at the time of a title!) Sadly not to be!
