Rubber-band bandit

On holiday a few years ago, the lads all got wooden guns that fire elastic bands.

Just like this one.

Unfortunately, Andy’s was taken off him by airport security (particularly unfair, as all three of them had hand-guns in their hand-luggage, but his was the only one confiscated). 

So when we saw similar ones in Sorrento, we got replacements.  

This seems to me an excellent idea, and I can’t see what could possibly go wrong.
