Best welcome home ever!!! Miles greeted me at the airport with Mimi and Grandpa C tonight (way past his bedtime!). I have never been so happy to see this face. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to travel with my team- it was a great experience - but I've also never been more homesick in my life. To the point where I ended up in a Chinese hospital (after only 4 days away) because my arms and face went numb and couldn't breathe. Apparently anxiety and panic attacks are very real conditions. I missed my kids so much and was not prepared to be away from them since this new job and trip happened so fast. But after some rest and sleep I was encouraged to try and stick it out and take it one day at a time...which I was able to do because I knew the kids were in good hands with the crew we had taking care of them. A few nights towards the end of the trip I was even able to actually enjoy myself. Thank you so much to Dada, Mimi, grandpa C, Nana and uncle Toad who loved my babies for me while I was away.
