CARGILLS CASTLE, DUNEDIN

Car gills Castle was built by Edwrd Bowes Cargill, a member of the founding Cargill family, a prominent business man and political leader. The castle was designed by Francis William Petre, a leading N.Z. Architect and its location on the St. Clair cliff top has ensured it remains. Dunedin landmark.
