Black Iris

To my total astonishment I discovered there was a black iris flowering in our flowerbed next to where I was feeding the birds. That's a first! We bought it last year more in hope than expectation as we normally don't get enough sunshine for irises to flower. Somehow despite the bad spring this flower made it anyway!
