Eid an Helliness

It's been a fairly cloudy day but the sun came out in the late afternoon.  It's still mild and calm.

Day off work today and had a longer lie than expected.  I finally got up and going, and went for a walk around Cunningsburgh to start the day.  Brian popped by in the morning for a cuppa and catch up.  After lunch, I headed out to Burra for a run.  I had been asked to give a talk for the Burra 60+ group in the local hall.  I used photo from the Clement Williamson collection I have been working on and got plenty of names for the photos to add :)
After tea, I headed down to see granny at the care centre and then popped by big bro Jonny on the way home.  Mam and my sister Julie plus bairns were along visiting too :)
Off to work in the pub tonight.

My walk with Sammy was going to be a usual along the road but we headed up towards Kenwood and then over the hill at the back of the Scoo.  The hill was much drier than I expected, so we carried on until we got back on the road at Aithsetter.  On the way, there's the more unusual angle to see my house, I don't often see it from here, so had to snap a photo :)  My house is sneaked in the centre with the black roof and upstairs window and looking out to my view of Helliness.
